BOOKS : Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
What the hell are people complaining about. I thought this book was an excellent continuation of the story threads started in the 4th book. And of course Harry is going to be confused, angry and so on - look at all the stuff that's happening too him, and his hormones too. He's just a normal boy, not some super hero, and is deeply effected by seeing a real human being he knows die right in front of him. Have you? And did you just brush it off, because if you did then I think you are the one who needs help...
Anyhoo, I thought it was great, well worth the 750 pages (mind you I read it quite fast because it's easy/kiddie reading)

Was I one of the 'complaintants'? Probably not, but I'll take this opportunity to say a few things about the book (again).
Yes, it is a good continuation of the 4th book.
Yes, HP seems to have a fair bit on his plate.
No, I don't think that JK wrote the whole thing. The characters are now owned by WB (since the 3rd book).
The last two books are bloated. Maybe they were written by MS programmers.... That would explain why so many people find it easier to get into the story, even though the book uses way more resources than the previous green screen version... but I digress.
enjoyable book, but the story seems to be similar to the previous outings. I'll still have to get the next two (gotta get the set!).
Sorry if people posting comments annyoys you Toast, but I find it a convenient way to pick up a thread of conversation. Especially since we're on opposite sides of this blue globe of ours. :-)
